Lovely Rover

The minimum, and nothing more.

This policy covers all software made by LovelyRover.com LLC. We collect what we need to keep the software working and to decide what to build next — no more than that. We don't sell anything to anyone, and we don't participate in cookie-based marketing networks. Ever. Where a particular app collects more (like our games with online features), we spell out exactly what and why below.

Last updated: June 17, 2026

Personal data
We avoid it by default. No names, no addresses, no profiles built about you. The only exception is email during account linking (see Inclusion).
Telemetry
Anonymous, and only useful bits. Crashes, errors, and aggregate usage that help us fix bugs and prioritize the roadmap.
Cloud data storage
For performance and sync only. We store data off your device only when it makes the app or game better — like saving game progress so it isn't lost.
Account linking
Opt-in, for cross-progression. So your progress travels with you between devices — that's the whole point.
Selling data
Never. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
Cookie-based marketing
We don't play. No ad pixels, no retargeting, no marketing networks.

What we collect, and why

Across our software we collect telemetry data — anonymous diagnostics and usage signals — for two reasons: to troubleshoot problems and to decide what to build next. Things like which features get used, what versions crash, and how often a particular flow fails. We don't attach your name, email, or any identifier that points back to you as a person.

The rule we hold ourselves to: if a piece of data doesn't directly help us fix a bug or improve the product, we don't collect it. Storage is cheap, but trust is not.

What we don't collect

We aren't building a profile of who you are, what you do, or who you know. We don't fingerprint your device, we don't track you across the web, and we don't care what other apps you use. We don't collect contacts, photos, location, health data, browsing history, or device advertising identifiers.

Account linking and cross-progression

Some apps — particularly games — let you link an account so your progress carries across devices. It's opt-in. The account identifier exists so your saves know which saves are yours — not so we can market to you, and not so we can hand you off to someone else.

Selling data — we don't

We will never sell your data to a third party. We will never trade it, license it, or hand it to a data broker. If that ever changes, this page changes first and loudly — and honestly, it isn't going to change.

No cookie-based marketing

We don't participate in advertising or marketing networks that rely on cookies, pixels, or cross-site tracking. No ad retargeting, no audience-building for someone else's campaign.

The website

This website (lovelyrover.com) doesn't use marketing cookies and doesn't run third-party trackers. If we use anything at all, it's the bare minimum needed for the site to function.

Email

If you write to hello@lovelyrover.com, we keep your message in our inbox the way anyone does, and we use it to reply to you. We don't add you to a list, sell the address, or hand it to anyone else.

Children's privacy

Our software is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and note the date at the top. The guiding principle won't move: the minimum we need, never sold.

Inclusion, in detail.

Inclusion is an online game, so it necessarily handles a bit more than a local-only app. Here's exactly what that means. The principles above still hold: we collect the minimum needed to run the game and your account, we don't track you across other apps or websites, we don't show ads, and we don't sell your data.

Your account

When you first open Inclusion, the app automatically creates an anonymous account for you on our servers. This account stores your progress, shards, purchases, and unlocks so they persist and can sync. It is not tied to your personal identity — it has no name or email unless you choose to add one. Gameplay runs on your device, and a copy is kept in the anonymous account so nothing is lost. You can optionally link an email address so you can recover the account or sync across devices — the only step that ties the account to a personal identifier, and entirely your choice.

What Inclusion collects and why

Account ID
Created automatically with your account. Identifies your account and stores your progress and purchases.
Email address
Only if you link one for sign-in codes. Used to authenticate you and recover or sync your account across devices.
Purchase records
When you buy shards. Verifies the purchase, credits the correct shards, and keeps a receipt record.
Gameplay data
When you complete runs. Saves scores and progress, powers leaderboards, and awards accomplishments.

We do not collect contacts, photos, location, health data, browsing history, or device advertising identifiers.

How linking an email works

Linking an email is optional. If you never link one, your account stays anonymous. When you link an email, we send a one-time sign-in code (OTP) to that address. The email is used only to authenticate you and to recover or sync your account.

Game Center

If you use Game Center, leaderboards and achievements are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We report your scores and achievement progress to Game Center so they appear on the leaderboards you opt into.

In-app purchases

Purchases (shard packages) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. We store a record of completed purchases (receipt data and the shards credited) to deliver what you bought and prevent errors or fraud.

Where your data is stored

Account, purchase, and gameplay data is stored on our backend provider, Supabase, on our behalf. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

Data sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the game — Apple (Game Center, payments) and Supabase (backend storage) — and only for the purposes above. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Your choices and rights

Stay anonymous: simply don't link an email. Delete your account and data: from the app's options, you can delete your account at any time. This permanently removes your account and all associated data — progress, shards, purchases, unlocks, and any linked email — from our servers. The app then starts a fresh, empty anonymous account so you can keep playing. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over any information we process — contact us to make a request.
